When I was looking for a company to quote for insulating the ceiling/roof of our studio theatre I firstly looked for a local company. The nearest was about 40 miles away. It turned out really well because it was Ecotite. I met with their consultant, Zac, and after several discussions and a site visit I decided not to look any further. I am totally satisfied with their sales approach; their presentation; preparation; attention to detail and most importantly the cost of the job.
Prior to my association with Ecotite the theatre was extremely difficult to heat; we would manage to reach about 19 degrees after about 6 hours. After Zac explaining it was because of the waffle concrete slab ceiling all heat dissipated quickly resulting in very large gas bills. Since October 2013 when the foam was installed our heating bills have tumbled. As an example, In December we presented our Christmas show throughout the month. This year it cost us only £78 for the entire 22 days! Once the required temperature was reached and heating switched off we lost maybe one degree in about six hours. In subsequent shows the temperature has been comfortable, occasionally a complaint or two about excess heat!
I wholeheartedly recommend Ecotite.

We were recommended to Ecotite by a family friend who had their factory roof and own private residence done. We found the workmen on site to be very good, clean, tidy and very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. The difference has been amazing, reduced our bills by almost half, the house is now a lot warmer and much more comfortable.
I would certainly recommend Ecotite to anyone and the product, as in my mind, is excellent!
I would like to take the opportunity to give a true reference to Zac and Ashley at Ecotite the work carried out at Welsh Slate Penrhyn Quarry was carried out to the highest standard, the quality of the product and the work was exceptional. One of the production units was 50 meter by 25 meter and contained a number of machines which needed to be navigated without stopping our roofing slate production.
Ashley worked through the night and all weekend to carry out the work. The old roof had plaster bonding and stability issues which Zac and Ashley’s product managed to cure and also gave the added benefit of warming the production unit up in winter and also keeping the production unit cool in the summer.
In another Department there was an issue with condensation coming off a steel corrugated roof the problem was sorted out in less than a day.
I would Recommend Zac and Ashley and the superb foam insulation to anyone
Previously our workshop was an unlined industrial metal shed and we were going through about 4 large gas cylinders a week just to heat it. The condensation problem was awful, with water running down the walls and dripping onto our products. We got in contact with Ecotite and they were from start to finish quite superb, the installation was carried out at times that suited us so production was not affected. We went for a 2 inches or in modern speak 50 mm depth of spray insulation lining, and it has made the world of a difference. No condensation and our heating bills slashed, not even going through one cylinder a week. I reckon it’s probably paid for itself in the saving on gas alone already. The building is now warm, comfortable to work in and dry. I have no hesitation in recommending Ecotite and their system. Zac gave exceptional service and advice throughout the contract which we felt offered excellent value for money and we are very happy that we made the investment.
Since having my roof insulated the difference has been amazing even in this cold weather the house retains so much heat, the heating hardly kicks in and the house is always cosy and warm. I have absolutely no drafts. It doesn’t take long at all now to heat the house and it retains the heat for a long time so the boiler isn’t kicking in all the time to keep the heat at the correct temperature. I also noticed that the house keeps cool in the summer and with the house being exposed to the elements with all the fields I no longer have to worry about flying roof slates in strong winds.
The 2 guys who were completed the work were extremely professional, friendly and did an amazing job and even better cleaned up at the back of themselves.
I am so pleased that I got it done. I couldn’t recommend this company or service enough!
I have used the Ecolite Spray Foam System several times over the past 5 years. Due to Zac advising us where to apply the foam we have found it dramatically reduces the heating costs and on one of our sites we vary rarely have to turn the heating on; it also improves the internal look of an “old building” without the need to change the existing cladding. Zac always finds time to meet on site and discuss the requirements and I find the operatives very efficient when applying the foam and the work is done on time with a minimum of disruption. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Ecotite Insulation Services and the Ecolite Spray Foam System.
Poplar Harca are a social landlord with over 9,000 properties in East London. A good part of our housing stock have metal roofs, due to the removal of the communal heating system these properties have suffered from a condensation problem within the roof space. Ecotite Spray foam insulation carried out works to some of these roof spaces. There has been no reported condensation problem within the roof space since the works where undertaken.
We plan to use Ecotite spray insulation on all affected blocks with this problem.
I would not hesitate to recommend the company and the product.
Thanks Timmy

A first class service from start to finish. That’s from the initial phone call to Zac, through all of the advice stages, quotation proving,
the execution on site, through to the final result – a condensation free building.
It was quite some issue that we’d created for ourselves. It was difficult to believe that following the refurbishment of an old American Air Force
Nissan style hut, we could have such an amount of moisture created, to the point that it was constantly dripping onto the suspended ceiling
below. It was an issue that had to be addressed, it most certainly wasn’t going to go away. We looked at one or two options, mostly based around
ventilation. Expensive. Some words of advice later, and several phone calls to prospective supplies of insullation, we narrowed our search down
around Zac. Good initial conversations, no pressure, and after a couple of site visits, we could proceed with confidence that not only had we got
the correct solution, we were employing a company that was right for us.
The guys on site – just what we want. Following all the rules & regulations of an establishment like ourselves has, and with an attitude to dealing
with the client, executing the job and clearing site that is a tribute to them.
Problem solved, in a manner problems should be solved.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Ecotite to any prospective client.

Just to let you know that the roof /foam insulation has been a huge success, we have had minus 8c outside and the temperature in the loft only dropped from 20c to 16c during the night when the central heating was turned down for the night. The temperature in the loft space is now just a reflection of what is happening in the rest of the house. We control the heating from a thermostat in the hall, during the day that sits about 20c and during the night it is set to come on when the temp drops to 16c. What we have noticed is the heating boiler is on a lot less than it used to be and for a shorter period of time so the house is taking longer to cool down and it is warmed up a lot quicker so we must be saving on gas. So far this winter it has not been too cold so it will be interesting to see what happens when the real cold comes along as we used to have a covering of frost on the underside of the roof when it was really cold outside.
I am delighted with the work undertaken by the company, the job was done efficiently and without any fuss. I would be very happy to recommend your company to any interested parties
Living in a 1930s bungalow, with a tiled roof and no inner membrane, we were suffering from the cumulative effects of 80 years of coastal winds. We were not quite at the stage of losing tiles, but the wind was blasting through the gaps and the Rockwool; insulation in the roof space was covered with cement dust and lumps of cement.
We were advised to look into the possibility of having the roof insulated with high-density foam, and my searches online led me to Ecotite. I emailed them for a site-survey.
We had a complication. The previous owners had built a loft conversion consisting of a turned staircase to a landing, into a double bedroom in the roof. I wondered how Ecotite could treat the roof behind the loft conversion.
Within a few days Zac arrived and had a good look at the property – outside, and in the roof space.
He confirmed that, to seal the roof properly, we would have to remove the plasterboard from the stairs, landing and bedroom, then replace it afterwards. (This was not good news) He also advised that I should have the chimney removed (I had told him that we never used the gas fire in the lounge) as this was a massive source of heat-loss from the ground floor.
After receipt of his quotation for the work, and much discussion, we decided to have the job done, and we fixed a date with Zac.
We had the chimney removed by a local roofer. We began to remove the plasterboard (and what passed for insulation behind it) and soon wished that we had never started. The mess we made was horrendous!
Zac had already advised us on what we needed to remove in order to provide sufficient access. However, he came back on the Sunday afternoon before the work was to be done, to ensure that all was in place.
The two guys who came to do the job were first class. They completed the work with speed and cleanliness. I’m sure there was less mess after they left than before they started. I cannot fault the service from this Company.
The difference since the job was completed is everything that Zac promised. It was so good that after two weeks we had the double radiator in the upstairs bedroom swapped with a single radiator downstairs.
There is no doubt that all the mess and effort was worth it in the end. We are now looking forward to seeing our next gas bill.
Ecotite insulation makes sense. If you are thinking about it, then just DO IT!
Ecotite was used by Gwynedd council highway works service department to install Ecotite foam insulation to the stores roof at our Gibyn depot on 2nd Nov 2011 in order to cure a condensation problem. The work was carried out in a thoroughly professional manner and we have not experienced any problems since. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this company to be employed to carry out work of this nature and would most defiantly use them for any future works.
The work was carried out to insulate the interior roof and wall panels down to block work. The work was carried out quickly and professionally over a weekend so as not to inconvenience the workshop as to the weekly work.
The Spray foam insulation was to combat a severely cold workshop and condensation problem which was successfully rectified by the spraying of the foam on to the corrugated sheeting, all equipment which was not removed from the workshop was covered so as not to be contaminated or over sprayed with foam.
This work was carried out in October 2012 and is still to date as good as the day it was sprayed. I would highly recommend Ecotite spray foam insulation as to their good practise, professionalism and, excellent standard of the finished work and quality of the insulation.
Good evening, just a quick note to say thank you for the work which you have completed on my house in Spalding. I had a quick look in the roof space on Saturday, once the work had been completed, and was very impressed at how neat it looked. I would also like to say a big thank you to the two gentlemen that you sent over, as they were very conscientious and cleaned up very well indeed.
We would have no hesitation in recommending your company and product in the future.
Once again, many thanks for completing the work.

In just 4 hours Ecotite Spray Foam Insulation, transformed my cellar from a building site into a functioning room. We had spent a long time wondering how to insulate the cellar without damaging the extensive tanking. Ecotite did it efficiently, effectively and produced a finish far better than we expected. Many thanks.
Hi Zac,
“We would highly recommend using Ecotite for your insulation needs. The service they provided was so professional yet personal and we found their experience and knowledge so helpful when deciding what we needed. The spray insulation has transformed our loft/office space, is clean and easy to work with. Will definitely be using their services again in the future.”
Hope all going well with you.

With an old grain barn needed on site for our car storage business, we were worried about the cost of recladding it for insulation and dust prevention. Spray foam insulation was the answer, quick and hassle free, we now have a warm clean building. Plus, with the expert installation no cover up cladding needed.
All done in less than 3 days! Result.

Just a quick message Zac, to say thank you and your guys for a great job which was well executed.
I would definitely say money well spent such that I hope to get you back in due course to do the other outbuilding.

Zac,
Please can you pass on my thanks to Ash and Wes who have not only done an excellent job but have also left the site spotless. I am very grateful.
Very much appreciated,

This was the second family home we had foam installed in the loft – the first being back in 1995 – so we knew the benefits. The temperature in loft used to be sweltering in summer and well below freezing in winter – we used to dread going up there! Afterwards we never found the temperature varied much more than ‘jumper-to-t shirt’ during the year.
Ecotite is one of the easiest, most professional companies we have worked with during the renovation of our new three-bedroom bungalow: very clear as what they would do, how and what it would cost with none of gimmicks tried by other companies we had.
The installers were a super pair of guys who had the job done in a few hours with no fuss or mess despite some tight crawl spaces.
The other tradespeople who had been working in the loft space said how much more pleasant – cooler – the loft space was immediately after the foam was installed as it was keeping out the summer heat captured by the roof tiles. Also, it made the space brighter and seem bigger.
“I have already recommended Ecotite to two other friends and will to others.”
“I live in an early 17th-century farmhouse, which I am slowly, and I like to think sensitively renovating and upgrading. Previously I had worked with another company providing the same product as Ecotite, however, the last three rooms have been done by Ashley. What a difference, now I always ring Ecotite first.”

Barn Renovation, North Wales
Having acquired an Old Barn we needed to insulate and due to the age of this barn we needed something that was going to ‘do the job’. Having researched what was available we decided that this product was what was required. We contacted Zac, who came to visit the site, he knowledge and help was invaluable. We had no hesitation in asking Zac and his team to insulate the old walls and ceilings. The job was done quicker than we expected, very professional and was spot on. As soon as we walked in after the guys had finished you could feel the difference and were amazed with the finish. Thanks very much for all your help and advice.
